Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 9, 2026

1. Overview and Services

These Terms of Service govern your use of ScopeKit ("ScopeKit", "we", "our"), including our public domain intelligence audits, APIs, and the Security Questionnaire Response service ("SecuritySprint"). By accessing our website, purchasing our services, or submitting documentation, you agree to these terms.

2. Nature of Service and Customer Responsibility

Customer Representation and Sign-off: ScopeKit provides automated and assisted drafting based on user-supplied documentation and public passive DNS/TLS observation. Customer agrees that Customer must independently review, verify, and confirm the accuracy of all drafted responses before submitting any completed questionnaire to third-party auditors, prospective buyers, or regulatory authorities. ScopeKit does not act as a certified public accounting firm, certified audit body, or legal counsel.

3. Security Questionnaire Service & Turnaround

For paid questionnaire services:

4. Fees and Payment

Fees for questionnaire turnarounds are charged on a flat-fee basis (standard $499 USD per questionnaire) via PayPal or verified corporate invoice. All fees are in US Dollars. Because work begins immediately upon document intake and control mapping, fees are non-refundable once draft delivery has commenced, except in the event of an unexcused failure by ScopeKit to deliver within agreed reasonable timelines.

5. Proprietary Rights and Data Ownership

Customer retains all ownership, rights, and title in and to all questionnaires, security policies, and proprietary documents submitted to ScopeKit. ScopeKit claims no ownership over customer materials.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScopeKit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, enterprise contracts, or business goodwill, arising from or related to the use of drafted questionnaire responses or domain audits. Our total aggregate liability under these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by customer for the specific service in dispute.
